Its' been a while--yes I know. Anyhow--this is my brother. He got married a few weeks ago. In North Carolina. So like any sane parents, we decided this would be a good opportunity to take 23 days and load 5 of our kids into our motorhome and drive cross country. WHAT. A. TRIP. Seriously. What a trip. But more on that later. Here are a few shots I took BEFORE I screwed up my camera...(more on that later too). The wedding day was pretty crazy and overall there were 6 kids under 5 in the wedding party. I was thrilled when they all made it down the aisle without incident. Kelly was a brave bride for having a minipreschool in her wedding party. I figured there was at least an 85% chance that one of them would trip, bleed, puke or cry but they all made it! The wedding day was also the day I was the most hungover ever. Like EVER. In my defense, they did hold the rehearsal dinner at a wine bar and my dad did foot the alcohol bill and I DID drink on an empty stomach. But Kelly was a trooper bride for holding my hair while I threw up in a trash can at the hair salon on wedding morning. See--that's how I knew she'd be an amazing sister in law! (more on that later too) Anyways--here's Dave headed to the rehearsal. I think we'll call this the movie star shot.
And the happy bride and groom. Yes I know this picture sucks.....I've got better ones...
And like a good little prepared UT mormon, Savannah came to the wedding with her backpack full of snacks, water and her DS (hey--pictures in between ceremony and reception can be boring)
And then there was Rowan. All she needed was a tiara to keep herself entertained. (well and some dance music so she could amuse the crowd at the reception) If I ever learn how to upload videos on here, I'll show ya!
More details on the whole crazy trip coming soon!
